I have a 3d printer and a humid apartment, so my 3d printer jammed up due to filament breaking. And other sad stories for the ages. I’ll get it fixed soon!

I love 3d printing. For most it’s an expensive hobby, but it doesn’t have to be. You can get started by printing little toys on Thingiverse, but the hobby comes alive when you get a caliper, download Blender, and start making your own models. I’ve made lamp shades for a blinding garage light, replacement battery covers for the Gameboy Color, fun knock down towers for my cat, and my personal favorite was a whole ocarina model off of Thingiverse.

By the way, I started using Blender with no experience. Give these tutorials a shot!
